Compass, North, Compass Point, Navigation, Navigate

It feels that way at times…that we have been dropped into this eternal cosmic abyss. Alone, confused and afraid. But we haven’t. There’s a larger meaning for it all. When we are feeling lost or questioning the meaning of our existence, it just means we’ve stumbled off course.

One of the purposes of our existence is the development of the Self– to become the highest and truest expression of ourselves. Another purpose is the advancement of humanity–to evolve God’s magnificent creation. Yes, we all play an intricate part. As we continue to evolve into our best selves, we advance God’s kingdom. And doesn’t it make sense that if we are doing those two things, that ultimately we will always be supported?

That dream, resting deep down in your heart is the call of the Self. It won’t leave you alone because it’s what you are supposed to be doing to advance God’s kingdom. It’s your role. We think…I’m much too small to do that or I’m not smart enough, but the beauty of it is that the desire wouldn’t be there if the means of accomplishing it weren’t there also. The universe is just waiting on you.

Truly…we are never alone. We’ve each been given our own internal compass in order to navigate life. It’s the capacity to feel, to register emotion. As you move toward something or away from something, we register feeling. That’s our guidance, our support system. When you think of your dream, do you get a feeling of happiness? Joy? That’s the universe saying follow me this way. When you think of being in a long term relationship with that particular person do you get a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach? That’s the universe yelling, “Get out of there quick!”

It takes some practice before you can fully hear the language, at least it did for me, and I’m still learning to sensitize myself to it (meditation and being able to drown out the noise of the world helps), but know you are always being guided.

The universe is awaiting you and it will always support:

a) What is good.

b) What is true to the Self. What is naturally, uniquely and authentically you.

When pursuing anything, ask yourself…is this good for me and those around me? Would it advance God’s kingdom? If so, then it is good.

Secondly, ask yourself, How does it feel? Does just thinking about if stir you from deep down inside? Cause you to smile? Is it something you can’t let go of? If so, then it is a part of your true identity. It is a part of the unfolding of your true Self and part of the trail that leads to your happiness. Run towards it like gangbusters, knowing without a doubt that the universe has got your back.
